One of the most effective means of giving to First Flight Society is a planned gift. Gift planning allows you to carefully select the best methods and assets for making your gift, whether it’s cash, stocks, bonds, real estate, life insurance, trusts, or bequests.

A planned gift can enable you to assist First Flight Society in its missions, while also reducing your burden of income, capital gains, or estate taxes.

Gifts of stocks, mutual fund shares, IRAs, and bonds that have increased in value can have an immediate impact on your favorite First Flight Society program–and also create an immediate income tax deduction for you based on the current value
of the asset.

First Flight Society appreciates gifts for the First Flight Society Scholarship Fund and First Flight Society Endowment Fund at the Outer Banks Community Foundation. Anyone wishing to make a gift through the OBCF on behalf of the First Flight Society is encouraged to contact the Outer Banks Community Foundation at 252.261.8839 or www.obcf.org.

A gift in memory or honor of a member, relative, teacher, student or friend is a meaningful way to recognize a person’s life and accomplishments. To inquire or find out more about establishing an honorary or memorial gift, contact the First Flight Society office at 252.441.1903.
