Membership - Join the First Flight Society

We welcome you to join one of aviation's oldest and finest organizations.

The Society has several categories of membership. In addition to the good feeling you will get from helping the Society's important work, members also receive a number of tangible benefits, ranging from Society newsletters and invitations to events... to the now-famous first flight photo and a Society pin. We also try to make other interesting items available to our members, such as commemorative coins, books on the Wrights and aviation, and replicas of aircraft, often at a discount. We also offer postal cachets commemorating the Shrine honorees each December 17. New cachets that honor the Shrine inductee are offered at the annual luncheon. If you are a collector of cachets, please contact the Society office for more information about what is currently available.

You may join or renew your membership in the Society on this page, or request a printed membership application through the mail. You may also use PayPal by sending your payment to dec17@firstflight.org with a note that you are joining or renewing your membership.

*Note: Annual memberships are effective from December 17 through December 16 of the following year. Applications received after July 1 will be valid through December 16 of the following year.
