Danny Couch, Hatteras Island, NC. Owner, Hatteras Tours and currently a Dare County Commissioner. Has done extensive written research and oral history documentation for almost 4 years to promote the unique maritime history, heritage, culture and tradition of our windswept barrier islands. His interest in the Wright Brothers and the first flight dates to his elementary school days at Cape Hatteras School. He and his wife, Sherry, principal at Cape Hatteras Elementary School, are the parents of three young children and live in Buxton Woods Maritime Forest.
