Judith Fearing, Nags Head, NC – Judith is the great-granddaughter of Elijah Baum, young lad who assisted the Wright Brothers at Kill Devil Hills and daughter of Kitty Hawk native, historian and longtime FFS Director, William Harris. She has taught first grade for 26 years at Dare County Schools. Judith has volunteered for years for the FFS, and is now serving on the Board of Directors with her aunt Geneva Perry Ward. She continues to be an active volunteer for local organizations, with an avid interest in being with her children, photography and history, especially the Wright Brothers’ story and their work on the Outer Banks.
